On 24th September, the Innovation and Development Conference of Jinzhou Medical University was held in Sheraton Jinzhou Hotel. Mr. Wang Mingyu, Vice governor of Liaoning Provincial People’s Government, Mr. Jin Guowei, Secretary of Jinzhou Municipal Committee, Mr. Wang Xinyu, Mayor of Jinzhou, Professor Wen Deliang, Secretary of the Party Committee of JZMU, Professor Ding Weiguang, President and Vice-secretary of the Party Committee of JZMU, and many other chief leaders of universities and enterprises in Jinzhou and other cities of Liaoning Province attended the conference. Faculty and staff of JZMU watched the live broadcast.
The Three-year Action Plan for Innovation and Development of JZMU was released at the conference. Through nine plans and ten projects in promoting talent cultivation, scientific research, social service, cultural inheritance and innovation, international exchange and cooperation, JZMU aims to help Jinzhou to build into a well-equipped and region-centered city and to make the contribution to the all-round revitalization of Liaoning Province.
In the conference, 22 experts and professors were awarded as Tenured Professor, Leading Talents, Chief Clinical Experts, Excellent Clinical Doctors and Young Excellent Clinical Doctors of JZMU. Professor Xi Huanjiu was entitled Tenured Professor; Professor Zhang Yu and Professor Wen Deliang were entitled Leading Talents; Professor Liu Renguang and Professor Liu Hua, together with other two professors were entitled Chief Clinical Experts; 13 experts and professors were entitled Excellent Clinical Doctors and 2 were entitled Young Excellent Clinical Doctors. The award-winning representatives expressed that they would live up to the expectations of the Party and the people, and make due contributions to Jinzhou’s economic and social development and the high-quality development of JZMU.
